Skillful Communications Required in Difficult Economic Times
It can be hard enough to keep oneself calm and focused on a job during these times of economic anxiety - what if you have 5, 50, 5,000 or 50,000 employees in the same position? Keeping Employees Engaged and Focused During Difficult Economic Times is the topic of the next professional development workshop offered by the Yankee Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
The three-hour seminar, to be held on Monday, Nov. 10 from 2 pmâ5 pm, will be conducted by senior counsel and partners from the behavioral public relations and management consulting firm Jackson Jackson & Wagner, Stacey Smith, APR, and Robin Schell, APR, along with Ruth Maron of Identity Communications.
This practical, interactive seminar will cover best practices in employee communications and relationship-building that will benefit organizations and businesses in good times and bad. Communication managers are encouraged to bring their CEOs and Human Resources team to learn what some organizations are doing right, and right now.
The cost is $35 for Yankee Chapter members and their guests, and $45 for non-members. To register, call Meg Trafton at 603-742-1971 or contact via email: dssmeg@c1mail.com.
The Yankee Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America holds professional development and networking sessions every other month. Meetings feature workshops and first-class speakers on topics of interest to public relations professionals and the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with colleagues from throughout northern New England.
